I like playing guitar. I’ve been playing in church for about six years. I play electric and acoustic. Electrics are fun to play because there’s an amazing amount of pedals, amps, and gizmos you can use to alter your sound and play with your tone. Acoustics, on the other hand, aren’t given that kind of attention. Probably because most acoustics sound great out of the box.
I found this little acoustic pedal a couple of years ago being sold as a refurb. It’s super fun to play with and I especially like messing around with the step-phaser. I’ve since upgraded to another acoustic multi-effects pedal and thought, rather than selling it on eBay, I’d give it away to one of my blog readers.
I know you’ll enjoy playing with this and crafting your own sounds as you go. It even has a built in tuner!
All you have to do for a chance to win this pedal is leave a comment about how you’ll use it (At church? In a band? Practice?) and then hit that little retweet button on the left.
I’ll be announcing the winner in a blog post at the end of the week so stay sharp or you might miss it 🙂

Hey Lee,
I enjoy your blog & tweets, they are encouraging. I love to play guitar too. I’m continuing to learn & teach myself so I’d use the pedal for practice but also for when I play in our little church. My younger sister has just started to learn the guitar as well so between the two of us we’d put it to good use! 🙂
If I were to win this i would sneak into my daughters room, turn the amp up to max and see if Debbie would notice. then I would probably give the device to the most wonderful daughter in the world. She likes it when I give her stuff, especially if it is connected to her guitar.
I don’t play guitar but I would give it to my best friend who faithfully plays at every childrens event we do. She is amazing on the guitar, and God uses her to minister to His little ones.
🙂 im the drummer in my church ( one of the many drummers)
So in other words you have finally bot so many pedels that you are running out of room and now giving them away so you don’t have to pay for storage. In that case if I win this pedel I will make a youtube video were I “hack” the pedel and reviel the moster that lives in side.
There is a guy in our church that plays the guitar. He does it because he loves Jesus and loves people. He never asks for anything and deflects all gratitude and appreciation. If I am chosen, I will give it to him.
I lead worship for a few services at church that that includes just 2 accoustic guitars and a djembe… it would be awesome to get some new sounds and effects to go along with our accoustic feel! Looks like a fun pedal to implement in our worship set!!
If you give it to me then I will sell it and use the money to buy Lord’s Chips for all the orphans in the world.
If you give me the pedal I will continue to practice, learn, and enjoy. However, I am the lead pastor of a church plant so it is possible that I would give the pedal to the band or sale the pedal to raise money for our outreach efforts.
If I win this pedal I too would pass it on to a student in our Youth Ministry that loves playing guitar and has since began finding acoustic guitar fun to play.
I lead worship on Friday nights at a small (I prefer to say call it “intimate”) non-traditional service at our church. I have both an electric and an acoustic guitar, but find switching between the two really disrupts the flow of the worship time. If I had this pedal, I could stick with the acoustic guitar (which I prefer) but still have some variety in the sound. The built-in tuner would be very handy for quickly and accurately switching to drop-D and back if I ever need it (I’d love to do “Beautiful Things” by Gungor in Drop-D). I’ve got a multi-pedal for my electric, but just a pre-amp for my acoustic.
Leading worship had been an unreasonable and impossible dream in my life since coming to know Christ about 4 years ago at the age of 32. It was an impossible (to me) road that led me to being up front during the worship portion of the service and the fact that I’m up there is a part of my miraculous testimonty.
Lee, thanks for chosing to give back to others by giving this away, I’m sure it will find a good home and will continue to be used to glorify God.

My son has led worship @ churches and writes his own songs. He has a Korg that he hooked up to my computer last night but it wouldn’t work right because he had dropped it awhile back. He only works part time and isn’t able to buy a new one right now. He would be so stoked to get this one from you. I’m excited for whoever you give it to; they will be so blessed by your generosity. Thanks Lee!
I won’t lie, I don’t read your blog too often and I don’t play guitar but I know someone who would really like this. He’s our church’s worship leader and him and his family have been putting a lot on the back burner to keep afloat. He’d love a new tool for worship purposes and since he’s about to plant a new church, he probably won’t be allowed to take the equipment he currently uses.
I would give it to one of the guitar players at church, or sell it as part of a fundraiser for the church.
I would use this pedal for home worship and for my worship music ministry. I play acoustic guitar. I use a Martin acoustic electric. Hope I win .
I’ve been following your tweets for sometime now. I’m a junior high minister and would be a great asset to have available for students to use during worship gatherings.
I would give it to my son. He often leads worship and could use something like that.
Very cool Lee. If I got it, I’d give it to my wife. She’s the better guitar player than I, and she has a gorgeous Gibson acoustic. She plays faithfully in the background at church and never asks for anything, so this would be an especially fun surprise for her.
I would use the pedal at church. We have recently started singing praise and worship on wed night in the youths class. I want to help them to understand and experience the blessing that can be received by giving and showing our love to God through musical praises.
Our band just started playing with the Praise team and is doing a Awesome job. Money is tight and this would be a great addition for them, hope to win one for the team.
ug. ‘Nuff said.
I’m the creative arts pastor at our church and primarily use my acoustic to lead with (I use my electric some, but not as much as the acoustic). I would definitely use this in my Sunday morning set up!
Lee, your contests are always a blast! I’d use the pedal to increase my practice time, teach my kids about different types of music, and eventually lead worship with it…
